Chess Moving Sydney has been awarded a very prestigious special project for Australia's first 6 star luxurious resort; the exclusive Emirates Wolgan Valley Spa & Resort situated within its own private conservation and wildlife reserve.

The project encompasses the receiving, sorting, consolidation, transport and placement of 2400m3, equivalent to 85 x shipping containers of furniture and fittings to cater for both the 40 luxuriously appointed units based on traditional Australian homesteads, along with the onsite staff accommodation and facilities. Chess Moving Sydney has had to innovatively implement specialist equipment to cater for access constraints and weather during the winter months.

Logistically the project will require a 600km round trip per container! Which is made even more challenging by the remoteness of the location? Nestled away in the Great Dividing Range adjacent to the world heritage and famous Blue Mountains area, this 4000 acre resort has been designed and built to showcase and promote Australian wilderness, without impacting on the surrounding environment.

The facility is due to open later this year and is set to be a very exclusive destination for world travellers who will be treated to a "Slice of Australia"; however guests will pay from a minimum of $1800.00 per night for this privilege.

Another Satisfied Overseas Relocation Customer

08 Aug 2008

Hi, Philip. We have just returned from Seattle after inspecting our container from OZ and everything went well...actually, beyond well. We have never had a move go so smoothly (except for US Customs who decided to x-ray the container to see if we had "illegal wine" therein)! Your people in Australia were SO right about not putting anything edible in the container...if we had, we could have been held up for weeks by US Customs. So, thank you for making sure we didn't do anything bad!

It was stunning how well all our household goods made the transit: the guys in Kent, Washington State, US, could NOT BELIEVE how well everything was packed...they said they wished they had the same material to do the same for domestic moves! We went through everything and we had absolutely no problems at all. So we have all our household goods checked out and now stored at the facility in Kent, WA. We took a few things home with us, like the computer(s) and my guitar.

In any regard, the household arrived INTACT. Everything from the plasma TV to the smallest item: no breakage, no water damage, absolute nothing went wrong from your end. I wish our US moving companies were so conscientious and helpful, but they are what they are...and every domestic move we've made in the last 20 years definitely didn't turn out nearly as well.

So, thank you again from the Bruels Family, and kudos to everyone who was involved with our move. Everyone from Philip all the way up to the packers and shippers should be acknowledged for their professionalism. I wish I knew all their names so they could be told that their work was beyond exemplary...and should be the Gold Standard for ALL moving companies here in the US.

If you'd like to use this email as a reference on your site, please feel free to do so. We want to spread the word!

Sincerely,

Deb and Glen

UTS moves the Rolling Stones in Europe

01 Mar 2007

After U2 this year UTS Meys from Belgium got the Stones rolling' when The Rolling Stones called upon their expertise while they were touring all around the globe with their tour: "Bigger Bang". All together the Stones were touring with over 150 X 40' hi cube containers and 65 people were involved and only 16 hours available to cross-load the containers. The logistics' and the production manager of the Rolling Stones tour re-ported that they were extremely pleased with the expertise, know-how and dedication of the Meys' team!
